Spectra Gold Laser for Tattoo Removal

SPECTRA-GOLD (Lutronic, USA)

Spectra Gold system is divided into three different Applications:
  1. Spectra Laser Peel
  2. Spectra Laser Toning
  3. Spectra Tatoo Removal

SPECTRA LASER PEEL

What is "laser peeling" system?

Spectra Laser Peel is performed by the Spectra Gold laser in Spectra Mode its proprietary 300 μs, quasi-long pulse Nd:YAG wavelength.  Spectra Mode is employed in combination with photo enhancing Spectra Lotion to perform the Spectra Laser  Peel procedure.  Spectra Laser Peel utilizes both mechanical and thermal exfoliation to precisely remove 40 to 60 μm of tissue.

Clinical Applications:
  • Melasma
  • Dark lips and dark eye circles
  • Acne scar
  • Enlarged skin pores reduction
  • Fine wrinkle reduction

The Spectra Laser Peel is one of the most effective , dramatic results and innovative non-ablative skin resurfacing procedures available today. Incurring no downtime, patients can return to their normal activity immediately after treatment.  Clinicians benefit from reduced treatment times and improved patient satisfaction.

Treatment:
In most cases,  3-5 treatments will be required for optimum and long lasting results. It is recommended  that treatment be repeated every 2-4 weeks for pore size reduction. Return  check-ups will be scheduled to monitor and maintain results.

Results and effectiveness:
The Spectra Mode and the Q-switched mode in the Spectra Laser Peel harnesses of the Spectra VRM III laser gently remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells and stimulate the dermal cells associated with skin regeneration (fibroblasts, mast cells and macrophage cells). These result in collagen re-modeling and controlled resurfacing.  The skin surface is improved in tone and texture including a reduction in wrinkles and scars, without significant downtime or side effects.

Spectra Laser  Peel is a powerful, controllable yet gentle protocol that allows complete clinical management of the skin resurfacing process for a wide range of indications and skin types.

SPECTRA LASER TONING
Clinical Applications:

  • Melasma--a common acquired pigmentary disorder among Asian skin types. This particular Spectra system penetrates and targets melanin in the deep dermis making it ideal  for dermal and mixed types of melasma with the reports of excellent success rates.

Attempts to treat melasma  with lasers and other light sources that target melanin have frequently  resulted in irritation, PIH, other complications and on occasions, worsening of the  melasma, especially in Asian patients.

Treatment:
Patients can typically complete treatments without the use of topical anesthetics and return to their normal daily routines  immediately afterwards. Treatments are repeated 5 to 10 times at  intervals of between 7 and 10 days until the melasma is no longer visible.

Results and expectations:
Patients can typically complete treatments without the use of topical anesthetics and return to their normal daily routines  immediately afterwards. Treatments are repeated 5 to 10 times at  intervals of between 7 and 10 days until the melasma is no longer visible.
Laser Toning is a simple, effective treatment with high patient satisfaction levels and  can take as little as ten minutes per session. Treatments can be combined with  other complimentary therapies to achieve multiple clinical advantages with  little or no risk of side effects, making it the ideal treatment for epidermal and dermal melasma.

  • Lip Lightening and Dark Eye Circles--The laser concentrates on dark pigmented skin and enters the cells to kill only those skin cells that are dark in color. Attend 2 to 3 sessions every 1 month to lighten your lips fully. Since laser can make your lips feel uncomfortable, your doctor may prescribe you an anesthetic topical to apply before treatment for numbness. Keep your lips cool for a few hours after your treatment as you heal. Apply this as directed by your doctor. Use an ice pack if your lips are red or swollen, and avoid drinking hot liquids for a few hours after your treatment. Spectra Gold lasers do not usually leave scars or bruises.

SPECTRA TATTOO REMOVAL
  • Tattoo removal--Physicians all  appreciate the healing power of light and know how powerful the rays of the sun can be. The  Lutronic Spectra system channels concentrated light to carefully break down the  inks of a tattoo into tiny fragments without damaging the surrounding  skin-allowing the body to naturally dispose of the tiny ink particles. Although not  immediate and often requiring repeated treatments, the process is safe, permanent and  usually yields dramatic results. The Lutronic Spectra System works on any kind  of tattoo, professional, amateur, cosmetic, traumatic or colored. For more information ask your doctor about tattoo removal with a Lutronic Spectra  Laser or contact us for a list of clinicians that may be able to  help.
Treatment:
Topical or injection anesthetic is required before the laser treatment. Avoid water over the tattoo area for one day; however, you can return to their normal daily routines immediately. The Laser treatments require about 3-5 times for amateur tattoo and  5-8 times for professional tattoo. This will be repeated every 1-2 months until the tattoo is no longer visible.
